Practicing our blogging skills!

Today we had a look at our class blog and how we have so many fantastic visitors who comment on our amazing experiences. Everyone in Bishop class wanted to have a chance to be able to have a look at other classes blogs and share their thoughts and comments.

Raad loved looking at all the classes amazing learning.

Vaa it was great you knew to start your comment off by introducing yourself when we make a comment.

Miraj knew that he needed to say something kind, something helpful and ask a question to make a good blog comment.

Kali made sure to reread his comment to make sure it made sense before he published it to Pohatus classes blog.

Dorothy is about to publish her comment.

Phersayiz enjoyed her first time creating a comment about Year 5 and 6 camp. She really wanted to know where they found the starfish!

Raiha has been a great friend to Abigail who is new to Bishop Class. She is helping Abigail look through the blogs and explaining to her how we make comments.

Jashaia made sure he looked properly through all the class blogs before he chose a blog post to comment on.

Lets get our groove on!

In Bishop Class today we had our very first session of dance. It was so much fun learning new moves such as the toe tap, star jump, criss cross and more!
Reiko and Norman were learning about being connected and how we can connect our bodies using both our feet and hands.

Phersayiz and Teuaki had great fun working together balancing and connecting.

For some of us in Bishop Class we need to work on our balance but some like Marwah and Raiha we have good balancing skills.

Jesse was focussing really hard on balancing on just one hand and foot.

Our new student Abigail and Raad were connecting their bodies together through their heads.

Thank you so much to Jasmine for a great first session of dance. We can now practice all our new moves when we do jump jam in class!

Getting right back into our learning in Term 4!

What a fantastic start to our learning in Bishop Class for Term 4. We have been looking at fractions.

Raad has created a super selection of pictures that he has broken up into fractions.

Gaylene also had a good time finding shapes around the classroom she could use to represent fractions we have learned in class.

Welcome Back to Term 4!

Welcome back everyone to Term 4! I am looking forward to an exciting term with lots of great learning!

Gymnastics fun!

Today we had a lot of fun in our gymnastics class! We are learning to strengthen our core and keep steady so we do not fall.

Wow Jesse!
Aaron was jumping really high to make sure his skipping rope was getting under his feet.

Planting our Little Garden

Today we received our little garden full of sweet peas and flowers. We talked about how the soil had been dehydrated and we needed to add water to hydrate it so we could plant our seeds.

We all made a bit of a mess, but it was good fun planting our seeds.

World of Maths

We had an exciting maths day today! We had so many activities to try and see how maths can be fun and all about puzzle solving.

Ms Campbell came to give some of our groups a hand with the puzzles! She was really helpful when we got stuck.

Norman was using a mirror to make shapes.

It was very helpful having the Year 4s with us to solve some of the trickier maths problems.

Go Dorothy and Alyssa for putting together the problem together.
